Abbey Lynne Rays is a poet and educator living in the California Bay Area. A two-time Central Ave Poetry Prize Finalist (2026, 2027), her poetry appears in Anti-Heroin Chic and Eunoia Review and is forthcoming in Split Rock Review.

She recently completed her debut poetry collection on infertility, marriage, and early pregnancy loss, driven by the belief that speaking openly about these experiences is an essential part of healing.

Outside of teaching and writing, she finds peace hiking the California trails with her husband and their adorable, feisty cavachon.
